Swing Arm and Wheel Bearings are often overlooked when doing regular maintenance. They should be greased every year or two depending on the type of riding you do and the climate you live in. Most people think they need an expensive press to remove and replace the bearing but we’ll show you how to do it with a 5” vice which will save $185 shop labor each time the bearings need to be replaced.

• Remove the seals and Press out the bad bearing using a vice, some spacers and sockets
• Press in new bearings and seals
• Reinstall the swing arm and other components
• Inspect the wheel bearings
